The International Medical Academy -IMA- wishes to congratulate and show its recognition to Dr. Jesús Torres Corpas, Full Member of this Academy and plastic surgeon of reference, for the peroneal transplant he has successfully performed on an 18-year-old Algerian boy devoted to amputation of the limb, operated on ten previous occasions after suffering a fracture that became infected and caused him to lose bone. The young man will walk again in a few months after years without being able to support the foot, it has been a novel transplant, of great complexity, which contributes to the development and highest perfection of surgery in Spain. one more challenge and one more answer!
