Mastopexy is a surgical procedure to elevate and improve the shape of the sagging breasts (ptosis)

Process:
- Periareolar: when the breast is small and little falls, the incision is placed only around the areola.
- Vertical: The sutures are placed around the areola and in a vertical line down from the areola to the submammary groove.
- Short T: The incisions comprise an area of the breast consisting of the part of skin that is going to be removed and that will place the nipple and areola in its new higher position. The sutures are placed around the areola, in a vertical line down from the areola and along the groove below the breast.
